Choose This Day!

In this world of innovative ideas, abstract thinkers have strayed from the traditional definitions of people, family, and community. It behooves us as Christ followers to stop and strategically examine our lives, friendships, and belief systems.  These steps are important because, if not careful, we, as Christ followers, will lose insight into who we are, whose we are, and who we serve (the true and living God).  So insidious is this new way of thinking that we, as born-again believers in Christ Jesus, will be swayed from the very foundation that makes our walk with Christ unbreakable. If we are not careful, we will adapt the world's ideology about how we should live our lives, opposed to how God has commanded us to live, without fear, but in faith, which yields an extraordinary life. The Kingdom of God is not a Democracy, but instead a Sovereign government with God as Head.  In this government, we do not choose to live our lives the way our flesh dictates, but we are governed by the Holy Spirit that lives within us.  We are in the world, but not of the world.  We are governed by a different set of laws and statutes.  The laws and statutes that promise eternal life.  Each citizen is infused with the power of God. The power that can transform our lives.  The power to create the circumstances and surroundings that we desire in Him.  The power to heal the sick, open blinded eyes, and cause the lame to walk.  This power is a part of the benefit package given to each citizen of the greatest kingdom that ever existed.......The Kingdom of God.  So, while others live aimlessly by the systems of this world, which yield death, we as Christ followers live by the concepts and precepts of an awesome, living, omnipotent, omniscience and omnipresent God!  Use your Citizenship and receive your perks from God; it is your birthright!
